Me and my sorry little life: Barcelona

The next morning came, and everyone was brightly up and about.

Almost everyone.
So...
Guess what was our first tourist attraction in Spain?
Other than the grocery store, that is.

Hard to miss the big, tall and multiple towers.

So yes, we visited Sagrada Familia.
The biggest, grandest and most deadliest of all Gaudí's works.
As the world knows, the master of architecture, art and all other, but also a total wacko, died while building this monumental piece, which isn't finished.

What's with the Christmas tree?

As I said. Still not finished.
They are still building the place, while tourists walk about them.
That would be the entrance Gaudi himself build.

These are stairs in process, going all the way from the ground up to the ceiling.
Not that we were allowed to climb and try them out.

This is an interesting thing that I noticed.
All of the church is nice and white.
The usual demons are covering the place outside, but not allowed inside.
Then there is this one, black, shadow of a man, sitting at the far end of the church, watching, and observing everything.

Finally, after waiting over an hour in a queue (like getting inside wasn't a big wait) and listening to some Italians shout at my ear and steal my place in the queue, we finally got up one of the towers.
