At home it is acceptable to be lazy. To hang around doing nothing and having a laugh. It's your own home and no one is there to judge you.
At work when someone is paying you by the hour, it is unacceptable.
If you are payed by the hour to be a model and stay put for hours and hours that would be what you do.
But when you are payed to do a job and not sit around, you better do that job.
How universally incompetent a worker has to be just to sit and sit while on the clock, even though you've been told many, MANY, times to do something?
Are they just that blind that they can't see there's things to be done around?
Are they so mentally dumb that you have to give them dictated instructions as to what to do at what second of that work day?
Are there no spine in them?
All they care is that they get to use their coffee breaks on time.
And lengthen them by staying extra time in the bathroom.
They already come late to work.
When their shift starts they rush in the workplace with only a minute or less time to change into gears.
Are they not taught about respect, to be responsible, to take other people into account?
All they care about is themselves.
What the HELL is WRONG with this society?
During this past autumn and winter, I've been doing overtime, due to the fact that our workers do not have spine. They do not work unless they are given specific instruction as to how, when and what. They do not, they WILL NOT do any extra. They do not take any interest in the job. They arrive at work when their shift starts and not earlier. They try and get out of work little earlier than they should and they try to get out of things with as little work as possible. They do not finish properly what they've started. They will not clean after others, since it is not a mess that they've done. But what mess can there be after doing nothing?
When your shift starts you are ready at the workplace, changed in working clothes and ready to act.
You acknowledge that there are other people also working.
They also have a need to take breaks.
Some have greater responsibilities than yourself.
Therefore they cannot always remember everything, so yeah, you have to clean up after them.
They have other things to do, not just cleaning up after you and doing your job for you, so yeah, you have to work and do your job.
You might have the courtesy to check up on the timetable into what kind of situation you are entering, and if need be, come forward and help others after they've done 8 full hours of work.
A little interaction won't kill you.
And remember.
Take your brains with you.
