To Sweden on November

Planning on going to spend a day during wintertime abroad without any place to stay is insane idea. Well, as crazy as I might be, I did it, and spend a day in Stockholm, shopping.

Problem was, that the ship arrived in the harbor at 6am and the shops open up at 10am, so we had some time to kill. Eating breakfast in the harbor cafeteria doing math.

After spending two hours thus occupied, we decided to go sightseeing.  There is a nice pretty house just near the harbor.

 

Next we had to witness the Swedish idea of a public phone.

 

That is, a small box/corner without a phone.
Still hour or so to spend before opening hours.
We drew a lot from our heading and took a tunnelbana toward northwest. After traveling a while I got too hot and motion sick and we had to stop. That's the way we found this odd looking bush and church. Also some nice shops that opened up.

 

 

So the clock stroke 10 and we were off to shopping. Forgot to take pictures, had too fun shopping.

Had to go through all of Åhlens.

 

Then some hat shopping....

We also found this gadget shop with masks...

  

Then to Gudrun Sjöden. Not really my type of clothing, but then again... size S jacket...

Finally back at the ship and going home with a lot of shoppings along.

Crazy day indeed.
